Virginia Governor Ralph Northam and his wife tested positive for coronavirus a week back. Currently, he feels fine with no trace of coronavirus symptoms.
On Friday, he was one of Virginia’s many state officials who wished President Trump and first lady speedy recovery after they tested positive. He also urged Virginians to take the virus seriously.
The first lady of Virginia, Pam Northam, and four state legislators tested positive with COVID-19 in 2020. Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., announced he and wife Anne Holton had tested positive in May. They also had antibodies to fight the virus.

Over the last few days, I have been working closely with legislators to finalize a budget that will help Virginia continue fighting #COVID19 and ensure we emerge from this pandemic stronger and more resilient––I urge the General Assembly to send it to my desk as soon as possible. pic.twitter.com/fsjzT276TV

Donald Trump held a rally last week, hours after Northam had announced he tested positive along with his wife. He also mentioned that he might have been exposed to a sick staff at his Executive Mansion.
Trump didn’t seem to appear close to any of the officials from Virginia, who was a part of the rally. Some of them addressed the rally before the President came up but were not anywhere close to 50 feet.
